How do I log trips?
Simply click on "log a trip" in the top or side menu and enter the number of miles you have walked, run or cycled and the time taken.
How do I create a team?
1. Firstly, join the Challenge.
2. Next, go to "Create a Team" on the Team page or side menu. Enter the name of your team, and your organisation or group. Choose the correct size category and team size based on the total number of people in your organisation or group.
3. Finally, start inviting people to join your team through our "Spread the Word" Page!
How do I join a team?
1. Firstly, join the Challenge.
2. Next, go to "Join a Team" on the Team page or side menu and enter the name of your team (if known), or the name of your organisation or group to see if they have already created a team. Click on the team name, and then on the "Join this Team" button and you will be automatically added to that team.
3. Finally, spread the word and invite friends and colleagues to join the team too!
If you would like to join a team from another organisation or group, please ask the team leader first, or get in touch with us, and we will do it for you.
How do I find out how far I’ve travelled?
Simply go to www.mapometer.com and enter the area of the place you made your journey and this will bring up a detailed map of this area. Insert a marker at the start and finish of your journey and it will automatically calculate your miles for you.
I have forgotten my password. What do I do?
1. Under the login box on the Challenge home page, click "Request new password".
2. Enter your username or email address, and click email new password.
3. An email will be sent to your box with a link which will allow you to log in and select a new password.
4. Click on the email link to login and your will be directed to your Account page. Enter your new password in both boxes.
How do I change my details?
Simply go to My Page and select "Edit My Page"
I dont have access to the Internet? Can I join in?
Yes! Simply ask a colleague or friend to download the paper log chart below and enter your journeys on this. If you are a member of a team, you can ask your team leader to create a profile and enter our journeys for you. Alternatively, please contact us and we will arrange to enter your journeys for you.
