Workplaces, community and other groups, clubs, friends and family groups.
It's easy to set up a team.
Simply join the Challenge as an individual, then create a team. The person who registers a new team will be the team leader. Select the correct size category for your organisation or group (see below), then enter the total number of people in that organisation or group as accurately as you can.
Then simply invite colleagues, other group members, friends or family to join the team. Why not send them a special Challenge Invitation by email. It's best if they do this by 5th September, but new members can register for the Challenge and join teams right up to the end of the Challenge on 30th September.
Schools
To set up a school team, a teacher or administrator will need to sign up and start a school team. Pupils and teachers can log trips on their own paper log a trip chart, then give them to the team leader to log online on behalf of the school.
Team Size Categories
There are 4 team size categories:
- 2- 10 members
- 11 – 50 members
- 51 – 100 members
- 101+ members
You need to select the size category that corresponds to total number of people in your organisation or group, whether this is your workplace, school, department, community or other group, club or friends and family group.
